Bringing a new puppy into your home is an exciting and memorable time and we hope your new companion will bring you many happy times in the years ahead. Our team of vets, nurses and receptionists are here to guide and advise you on the best care and attention needed to give you a well behaved, healthy pet.
Early socialisation and training is an important part of your puppy's mental development so at St Anne’s we offer a Puppy Pre-School to enable your puppy to meet other dogs of a similar age and temperament in a safe and controlled environment.
The Puppy Pre-School, is run by our Registered Veterinary Nurse, Natalie Weston. Check out our Facebook page here.
Pre-School classes are on Thursday evenings but differ from month to month as to when they start (subject to availability) and cost just £30 for the full 3 week course. The classes are held in the large waiting room at our St Anne’s Road surgery and last about an hour, starting at 8 pm.
This is a great opportunity to learn how to raise your young puppy to become a good canine citizen. You will learn how to make sure your dog enjoys visits to the vet; how to manage play biting and toilet training and also how to start to introduce some basic training commands. Your puppy will also have fun and learn how to play!
Please contact St Anne's Vets on 01323 640011 for more information. We hope to see you soon!
